Wired tether on r2d2

My wife is switching from the droid1 to the r2d2. I've seen that you can root and use wireless tether, but haven't been able to find anything about wired. Our pc doesn't have wifi. I'm searching from df app, so sorry if this is answered already. Thanks for any help.

Easytether lite (trial version)
If u like it....easytether pro (9.99)

The only difference is lite gives you 30 days to be able to go to https sites (secure sites usually used for signing into websites like facebook, etc) then you can't. There are ways around that like ninjaproxy, but for 10$ I just bought it....and I NEVER buy apps.

You can even get it going without inet on your computer by following the instuctions. I loved this app

There is also pdanet. A lot more expensive but the free version never allows https sites. Of the two...I liked easytether the best. Now I am rooted and have wireless tether.

Thanks. I used to use easytether but it would drop my connection often. Does wired tether for rooted users work? That's what we currently use on our d1s
