Just wondering. With all the flashy new HD videos on Youtube I didn't know if that was expected or not.

Thanks man. This is what I would buy. Since this will be my first endeavor into animating and what not... I was looking at some free, beginners software to get me going. Then maybe I'll pony up for Adobe

edit: did I read $800 right?! I'm just looking for something to play around with...:icon_eek:

Thanks man. This is what I would buy. Since this will be my first endeavor into animating and what not... I was looking at some free, beginners software to get me going. Then maybe I'll pony up for Adobe

Edit: Yes. All Adobe products are insanely expensive. Got a couple on student discounts while Iw as in school. Can't really use them for profit though. :x

I'm not even sure I'll be submitting anything. I've got free time and the contest gives me a little motivation to learn something new... If I come up with anything presentable.....:icon_eek:

OK. I downloaded the logo, cranked up Sony Vegas Pro, and pulled out my guitar for some killer background "noise" and started to work. One question though? Is it legal to use the infamous "drrooiid" sound? I just don't think it would be right not to have it included.
