I really want an easy safe way to play music in my bathroom and just checking to see if anyone has any input on if I should get this device, if it will work with my og Droid.

looks like it has a base station that is separate from the speaker... and it says it's compatible with any MP3 player with a 3.5mm jack, which your Droid has.

So yes it will work.

whether you should get it is up to you, but I don't see any reason for it not to work.

I bought an altec lansing bluetooth speakers imt525 from ebay for around $45.

Runs on 6 AA batteries, only 1 inch thick- sounds great.

I leave droid in the dock and play music in the bathroom- loud enough over the water running
