Will The APN from my O.G Droid Work ON my Droid X??[MMS]

I recently bought the milestone x / droid x that allel offers. It's Rooted & has a custom rom. But just like my og droid, mms isn't working. I backed up my original apn that came with the phone and used it, but mms is still not working. Any help?

I know this post is over for the creator with the problem. I'm on Alltel and went from a Moto a854 to an xt862 (Droid3) and also tried an a855 (Droid) and neither will work for mms/web. I've tried that apn backup n restore file, also backed up my original alltel device's apn and restored it to other two devices. Unfortunately still no go. Seems I'm either going to have to use an Alltel stamped device or change networks.
