Consumer Cellular: Data and MMS not working

I have a brand new Moto X, and when I called Consumer Cellular to activate it, the tech support person said she'd never been able to get a Moto X to work with CC's data network. Not encouraging, but I find it hard to believe that there are no Moto X users out there using Consumer Cellular. I found a post on a different forum and tried the settings there, with no luck.

Please, can someone tell me where I'm going wrong? I have the checkbox checked next to "Data enabled: Enable data access over Mobile network". Is there any other setting that needs to be set a certain way?

Also, every time I change the settings for the ConsumerCellular APN under Access Point Names, I touch "Save". I then power my phone down, and immediately power it back up. Is that the correct process?

Does anyone have APN settings that work for a Moto X on Consumer Cellular? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

These are the settings I've tried already:

I don't know if the Moto X is capable of working on the Consumer Cellular network. That phone was designed cooperatively by Motorola and Verizon to work on the Verizon network only. Neither company had any intention nor gain any benefit by spending the additional money to make it compatible with other networks beyond those they have agreements for. Using these phones on other networks usually requires flashing custom ROMs and would not be supported either by Motorola or Verizon.

Perhaps there are others out there who can lend you some assistance but unfortunately I believe it may be limited if any at all.

Hi FoxKat,

Thanks for the quick reply. Moto X is sold in 4 different versions: for Sprint, for Verizon, for AT&T, and GSM unlocked (to work on either TMobile or AT&T). I have the GSM unlocked version, which should work with any US GSM carrier. Consumer Cellular is a US GSM carrier, so it should work with the correct settings. I just haven't been able to determine the correct settings...
