WiFi widgets

Hi I'm new to the forum and to Android in general.

I was looking for a WiFi widget that actually did something besides just turning WiFi on and off. There are tons of widgets that do that.

What i was hoping for was something that could turn the WiFi on (I normally keep it off to conserve power) and report back whether there were any networks available. In other words make this a one step process.

Can't you enable new ones in the settings and when wifi is on it notifies in the status bar? I do it on my Inc that way and use a widget to avoid going into the settings menu each time

Download Wifi Analyzer.....it looks for available Wifi and it will automatically turn on your Wifi.

that WiFi Analyzer app is amazing! That is the most useful thing I have ever seen. changing to another channel as it suggested really improves my throughput for my laptop as well.
