R REMilk Member Mar 1, 2011 #4 I, too, find that WiFi Tether stops working and needs to be restarted. Sometimes I might go hours without a problem and sometimes every 10 minutes. I am rooted, but have stock O/S on my Droid and have no task killers. Since I use it only as a back-up it is not a big deal for me.

OP OP B Big D Member Mar 2, 2011 #5 I use Wifi Tether on a rooted D1. It usually starts great and gets slower and slower over a 10 minute period and then I finally have to restart it.
