wifi stays on when phone sleeps?

In gb my wifi use to turn off when the screen was off.. in ics its always on.. i checked my settings and it says it will stay on while charging only. This is not the case

Actually Smart Actions will keep your WiFi on, even if you shot it off with the Power bar or anywhere else. The Wifi icon will be gone, but if you check with Better Battery Stats you'll see plenty of WiFi activity going on behind the scenes.

I'm switching to Llama and getting rid of Smart Actions to see if I can improve my battery life.
