Wifi on or off foe updates

Does the wifi have to on or off to get the update? I have been trying for awhile to get it.

I had my WiFi on for the download. No problems updating.

Updated on mine without wifi and on my wife's with wifi.

It seems like a big download, so if you're not in a 4g area you might want wifi on.

Maybe try the set your clock ahead a few days trick?

I had my wifi off when I got the update. I was on 3G when it started.

I downloaded and installed the update on 3g with no problems. I wonder if there's a setting that is getting in the way of your update...

i dont know about other phones, manufacturers, or carriers but whether I am on 3g or wifi updates download at the same speed - terribly slow

Update finally worked. Had to reboot the phone. What did the update do besides making the camera better
