WiFi not working ?????

Hey guys whats up? This is my first day of operating the Droid (came from iPhone). I spent all day playing with it and one of the thing I couldnt get to work was the WiFi. I gave it the code and the phone said it was connected until I did something that required the internet or Market then it would do anything , just kept searching. Any ideas? Also how do I put photos on the the droid from my MAC. I've put songs on there just can't figure out how to do photos. Thanks

I am having the same issue, but I am on a rooted Droid with Ultimate Droid 9.8 ROM. Still looking for an answer...
