seeing droid x on computer via wifi

I am able to connect my droid x to my home wifi network, but how do I see my droid on my mac finder? I want to be able to access my droid x on my mac.

Are there wifi settings on the droid for network sharing? If so, I cannot find them!

Not easily. But you can use ES file explorer on the droid to access network shares on the computer.

does not easily mean impossible? or possible but difficult. If possible but difficult, how?! Do you know?

I had the same problem connecting to my iMac. You have to add it manually in your network settings on the mac itself. If you're using wireless tether the name by default is AndroidTether.
