wifi n ps3

Hey guys, I was wondering if u could help me out. Been a Droid user for about a month n absolutely love it. Is ther anyway to have my Ps3 connect to the Droid fir online gaming. I have a router now but it's pretty weak w the signal cause of thedistance. Any help is appreciated.

u need to:
root
install wifi tether.

Its as easy as that.

Keep in mind that even tho u have an unlimited data plan with Verizon, nobody knows for sure how verizon will react to huge data spikes. So my line of thinking is that only use the wifi tethering in a pinch.... not as a replacement for ur home internet.
So use at ur own risk

NOT as easy as wifi tether. For whatever reason, the PS3 does not recognize the wifi coming from the droid, so that is not going to be a solution you can use. Wired or wifi, either way the connection to the PS3 will fail. You could run an ethernet cable from your computer to your PS3 and tether your droid to your computer and share the connection out that way...but that's the only way that's been figured out so far.
