Widgets

Just long press an emptyspace on the screen you want it and click add widget, scroll down and find the one you downloaded

Long pressing them should bring up an option to delete them.

Tapped from a Galaxy Nexus using Xparent ICS

Thanks for the reply. I tried that and it will will let me move them but nothing else.. If I "pinch" the screen it puts all of the screens (widgets and apps) and has a delete button at the bottom.. Afraid that if I delete from there that I'll delete every thing..

Long press the widget you want to delete and don't let it go. A trashcan icon will appear at the bottom right that says Delete under it. Drag the widget over the trashcan. When the area around it turns red, take your finger off the screen. The important thing to remember is to not take your finger off the widget until it's over the delete icon.

When you long press the widget, does a little trash barrel show up in the lower right hand corner. If you slide the widget to that barrel it should delete it.
