Widget resize?

So, on JB I thought the widgets were supposed to auto resize when adding to a home screen. Doesn't work on my RAZR MAXX HD.

As you drag them around, I find that is true. Example?

on my razr maxx hd, widgets only show up full size. have tried several, all behave the same. if I drag to a screen where they should resize due to space limits, they refuse to land. oh well, more promises broken.......

Oh, I'm so happy I read this. If you hold it until it vibrates and then release, you will see the resize bars appear. Drag and drop the edges. So awesome now. A 2 x 2 email widget was of no use to me.
