Widget Applications Disappearing

Hey everyone

I'm having a problem where I'll download a widget, such as HTC Sense Clock, and if I turn my phone off and on, the widget will disappear. If I have the widget on my home screen, there will be a box that says "Problem Loading Widget" in its place. The widget isn't on the list when I go to re-add it, but it's in my downloaded applications. I have to uninstall and reinstall it to make it work again.

I have the problem with other widgets too, not just this one, like a silly minecraft widget one.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm running a vanilla 2.2 rooted rom.

My experience has been that moving any app which has an associated widget to the SDCard causes the problem. I keep all those app on the phone.

Correct, no app that uses a widget should be installed on SDCard.
