Anybody else having Wi-fi issues? It is extremely slow or it locks up completely (I have 20+ mbps download speeds on home router). I have tried it browsing and on Spotify. When I put it back in 3G or 4G it works fine.

no problems here either. while my dsl is only 12mb still plenty.
I'd say try toggling it on / off or try rebooting the phone and see if it's just a random quirk

I have a router in my room, my OG droid has full signal wifi strength and connects, my girls tbolt gets full signal and connects, my bionic gets full wifi signal but it says I have no connection!
Something to note, I know on my OG if i had a wifi connection I would not see a 3G connection showing in the notification bar but on my bionic I see both showing...yet is says no connection...

I found this thread via Google, because I am having the same issues. WiFi on my device seems reluctant to make a connection more often than not, no matter what hotspot I am connected to. If I leave 3G/4G activated, everything is super fast and super responsive. Over WiFi, web pages take forever to start displaying, applications frequently time out, the Facebook app won't refresh, and then things will suddenly pop-up in batches.
Wifi on my Bionic always connects fine, but is just a lot slower than 3G or 4G LTE despite great signal and no interference. Should be much faster than 3G...
I just figured out that bluetooth has a significant impact on wifi speed. I turned bluetooth off, and my wifi instantly became 4x faster than before. Turned it back on, and it was back to being slow. So if you are using bluetooth, that could explain slow wifi issues. I assume that the wifi and bluetooth radios interfere with each other.
Yea mine has been too. Went down for a long time last night. Called verizon they said 80% of their users with 4g phones even ones not in 4g markets were being affected. Told me to remove my battey n sim card then start the phone...didnt help at all. Looks like its back up now. But my friends with non 4g phones didnt loose their 3g service. Hope this is fixed soon. Upgraded from an HTC Eris to Bionic n love it but the connection issues are driving me crazy!

My 4g stays on when I connect to wifi so I have a widget that turns off data... so the 4g disappears .. the only thing I don't get is mms which is no biggie I get texts and everything else
My blue tooth is always off.. wifi never loses connection even when I have it connected over night which is fantastic.... dl around 12mbps... slower than 4g but I actually use a lot less battery
You can manually disable data in the battery menu... a widget is just so much faster and easier for me
new to the droid phones here, so excuse me for my ignorance on what's going on.
I recently upgraded to the Droid Bionic, and it is constantly disconnecting from my personal in home wifi. I don't really understand what's happening, and it's quite aggravating. a good amount of time the 3g/4g (or any of it's other variants) icon isn't even showing at the top of my phone. what gives?
