Wi-Fi connection troubleshooting

Is there an app that will show me error messages from my router or at least the Droid if I'm having connection issues?

I haven't found anything that shows me any detailed information from either which would indicate what I need to do to fix it.

Routers dont generate error messages that leave the router. Depending on your router, you may a log on the router, but you have to access it that way...

It lags, it randomly disconnects, it won't connect.

Also interested. Same problem since installing Froyo.
