Why won't voice recognition texting display some words?

Ok, so I have notice that when I want to text via voice that it will only put #### for some words. [MOD Edit] Any way to fix this? I have tried Handcent and the normal text voice recognition on my Droid X...

By default it censors certain words. Check your Voice Input settings.

can you spell out the word? Like you do for a small child or dog?
