Ever since Google announced the concept of Android (back in, what, 2007?) I have been intrigued with the idea. I've been with Verizon Wireless since 1998 - it was actually Bell Atlantic Mobile around here back then - and was waiting for Android to come to Verizon. It was a bit of a bummer seeing other carriers get Android phones before Verizon, but when VZ finally announced the DROID lineup, I was excited.

I can't really explain exactly what makes Android so appealing to me. I was never a fan of Apple products, so I never got on the iPhone bandwagon, and never will. I just like Google's offering in the mobile device market. Guess I'm more of a Google fanboy...I've been using their services for around 5 years now. I just wish I could've gotten a CR-48.

Just show your opinion
