Why does it keep telling messaging error

Why does the phone keep telling me messaging error and then erasing all my text messages? The phone also locks up alot and have to remove the battery to reset it...

I've not had any problems with texting. I've read other threads from individuals whose phone have locked and they need to pull the battery. Most of the responses suggest that if you just downloaded an app from the Market uninstall and see if the problem goes away. Are you using the stock app or did you download one from the Market?

Not sure this will solve your issue but it can't hurt.
