Why can't they get it right?

Can I please have a phone with an amoled screen, removable battery, SD slot, a fast processor and gpu.. running android something.. I mean seriously.. why could they not combine the rayzor and the nexous.. it seems as though they compliment each other.. to be a perfect phone.. they should have those phones mate. Different manufacturers.. they should take the best ideas from each phone and bam..

Only thing I don't like about the Nexus is the SD. Other than that it is the perfect phone

its all in the competition and wanting consumers to spend spend spend. but i hear u, there are other thingsin other devices that i want but ...oh well.

@Brad...WHERE HAVE U BEEN??? LOL

To be honest i am loving it. You have a choice. If you dont like what they are doing with the nexus you have moto with the razr or bionic, or htc with the ryhme. Its about what you want. The phones now specs wise would been considered godphones when the d1 was in its prime. People were imagining what a 1 ghz processor could do. We now have multiple devices with dual core, something that I remembered that a poster asked about almost two years ago and was told to wake up. Well we are wide awake and I am stoked.

I agree with the OP. Why do they leave some little item out of every phone? You would think they would build onto things until there is a better way, such as 64gb on board that is affordable. No sd doesn't necessarily upset me because I don't use a ton of space on my phone and they have found ways to root/rom without SD. But some people actually switch out their SD cards for movies etc.

Unfortunately I doubt any one device will have it all and in essence be "perfect." If it did then there would be no need for more devices and would make for a rather quiet and boring forum ;)

I for one like all the variations and choices we have. It is better than having nothing to chose from.

You forgot a physical keyboard

People like different things. No one phone will have it all.

Hmmm.. Razr + Nexus + keyboard = Droid4... ? ;) perfect phone.

+1

The amount of choices we have is nice to have, even though there are some features not on our phone of choice. I'd rather have different choices than be stuck with my only option being "how much storage do I want?" (lol iPhone).

Not a true statement. You forgot about white or black :crazy:

I'm all for options like a physical keyboard and different CPU/gpu etc. I dont think the options should be SD card, removable battery, etc. Those are pretty much standards now. It would be like getting a new car without turn signals. Because you can make it work by using hand signals you know.

You have a bad analogy here.

Turn signals are required to be installed on cars sold in the US by federal law and have been since the mid 60's.

A better analogy would be not having a radio installed in the car. This is truly an optional piece of equipment that has become a de-facto standard in cars. Each manufacturer has a default standard of radio and related functionality in cars and most have optional upgrades,
