Hi,
I would like to cancel my gmail account on an LG G2 (4.4.2). All net tips on this matter say as follows:

1. From a home screen, select Apps [Select Apps] (located at the bottom).
2. From the Apps tab, select Settings.
3. Select Google.
4. Select an account.
5. Select Menu Menu icon (located in the lower right).
6. Select Remove account.
7. Select OK.

I can implement steps 1-5, but when I look for a "Remove account" option, I don't see it.

What's wrong?

Welcome to the forum

If it's the account associated with the ID you used to set up the phone that G-Mail account is automaticlly there. You can do things to stop it from syncing but I don't think you can actually remove THAT account without causing some issues with the phone. But I may be missing something due to a lack of some information.

I would imagine you'd have to do a Factory Reset and then setup the phone without logging into a gmail account.
