Are you familiar with a term “second screen”? Well, in a nutshell it goes like - when you’re watching TV at home, your home TV screen is the #1 and your iPhone / iPad / Android is the #2. I know it may sound weird, you’re suppose to be consumed with action in that movie / sport’s game on your TV but that’s not the case anymore. Sometimes I catch myself with doing the same thing - I check something on my iPhone about a documentary I’m watching 
This April Bob Bowman from MLB.com’s did provide a great insight into this duo - TV+mobile phone / tablet. Bob has been in iOS app development since its inception back in 2008 and since you can still find MLB app front and featured on the App Store Sports category it does make sense to listen carefully to what Bob has to say.
