I thought the OP asked about RAM, not storage.

As for the RAM, umm, you must be doing a LOT to need to worry about this with the Droid X.

Install Autokiller from the market and preset it at Extreme or Ultimate. Depending in which setting, you will have good amount of RAM available.

NO, do not install a task killer. Android works differently. Basically, it uses up most available memory and calls upon it when needed. It will free up memory as it needs to.

Blackberry works differently and the available memory really makes a HUGE difference.

My phone is VERY fast and I an constantly at 30-50mb free.

Why does it really matter how much free ram you have? Android handles tasks differently than a computer.

I was under the impression that the Droid X has 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. If the OP is asking about RAM, how would the internal storage come into play?
