Which GPS services should I use?

I am a Razr user and find the advice I get here very serviceable....that said, which of these services should I really be using?

I use everything but "Share picture location". This is probably not the best as far as battery conservation, but I get a full day out of a standard RAZR, so it's not a problem for me. I am in the suburbs of a large city, so my phone doesn't struggle for 4G and the like. Maybe others will post with more experience.

I use Standalone only, and even then I only switch on GPS when I actively need it for something, in order to conserve battery and keep the temperature down.

Thanks jaybog and ghostwheel. Everything seems to work just fine using standalone only so I will roll with that and maybe location services from time to time to improve search capabilities.....
