My original Droid1 screen stopped working the other day. Contacted Verizon and they shipped me a Certified Like New Droid1. Did the usual setup, etc and was very pleased to see that it found my Contacts, Apps, etc.

On my home screen on my original Droid1, there was a box-type menu on the bottom that had Messaging/Contacts/Phone/Favorites. But now it's no where to be seen.

I know it's silly as I can just drag my Contacts to the Home screen but it was such a handy little menu that I kinda feel lost without it.

I checked and both old & new Droid1's were running on 2.2.

Any ideas??

Your talking about the phone button that brings up the contacts, recent calls, phone, and favorites right?
if so long press on the home screen select shortcuts then scroll down to phone and select it. Or you can go in to the apps and long press on the phone and it will make it a shortcut on the home screen. Hope this helps. :)
Trying out Sprint for a month. Sent from my Evo using Tapatalk. 4G is pointless when you don't live in one of the few available network areas.
