WHERE on my SD card do i place pictures, to be used as avatars for contacts?

all of a sudden i've lost my mind...
well, it's been a gradual process

for some reason... i cannot figure out where to put avatar images on my SD card (while it's mounted to my iMac) so that those images can up edited into contacts

please help

There is an images folder on the SD card. Simply drop it into that.

I created a Media folder then sub-folders that separate all the different media that I have.....

i didn't see any images folder on MY SD card
and i haven't altered it in any way

i have been forced to email all my images...
then, by saving them, they are seen when i try to edit a contact

if i mount the SD card and put images EXACTLY WHERE THE DOWNLOADED ONES GO... they are NOT seen when i unmount the SD card from my computer

odd... huh?

I just dropped my individual folders onto the sd card and they showed up in the gallery. Then from there just assigned and cropped them on the phone for my contacts.

sounds like MY SD card might have been a bit different than it was supposed to be... for whatever reason
