Where is downloaded content

Hello everyone. I have had my Droid for a few months now. So I am pretty much a newb. I have downloaded some pdf documents, manuals and things like that. But I cannot find them after I close them. I know they are still in there somewhere but no luck retrieving them. Is there a way to view downladed content? I know there is but I just cant find it. Thanks for your help.

download a file explorer (such as Astro) to browse the phone

then its in /sdcard/download

Astro is a simple, incredibly useful, free app. It's your best bet.

You can also view Downloads via the browser.

If you're in the browser, access the menu, choose More and then choose Downloads.
