Where did "Search" go from the settings menu?

Hi,

I am trying to clear my search history, but ever since a recent update (couple of weeks ago) I find I no longer have the Search tab under my Settings menu. It used to be there next to privacy and SD card & phone storage. Just to clarify, I am not talking about the browsing history, but the search history. I am using the original Motorola Droid Android version 2.2.1. Can anyone help me with this?

I have been wondering same thing, have mint. com app om phone and ever since search setting missing can no longer make it searchable causing app to no longer update on phfone. Anyone no where setting went?

they moved it to. from home go to your google search and select settings from there. took me awhile to find it
