Where did my deleted Gmail go?

Before the Gmail update, there were different labels: archived, trash, spam, etc. You could go to the different labels and change it. Thus, you could retrieve a deleted Gmail. Is that totally gone now? Or, am I missing something?

Swipe in from the left side of the screen and you will see the folders/labels.

Go into settings, open General settings then change show delete. This will now delete anything you swipe from your inbox instead of archive it.
