No Thunderbolt? I think Intel is crazy or something. I searched through 700 pages of Thunderbolt related trademarks and none of them are registered to Intel.

I stopped at a Corp store today and got to see a demo device. Nice feel to it. Big but not too big. The girl said they're were ready to sell but just waiting for corporate to give them to go. She and other employees want the phone too.

She seemed to be up on the internet chatter about the delay. Cute too.

All kidding aside... I'm going to Verizon later today to check out the XOOM and bug them about the Thunderbolt or play the "I'm up for an upgrade is there a phone you guys suggest" game. Haven't decided yet...

Man this sucks! I don't know how much longer I can stand using this BB Storm 1, it's a piece of junk!

I screwed up royally and sold my Incredible and my X so I could get the iPhone which was a huge mistake, I don't know what I was thinking.

I can't wait for this phone to launch.

I just chatted online with a VZW support rep and she told me that the TB would launch before the end of the month and that I should go online and look for it everyday and that Verizon was keeping it a secret. I asked why a secret and she said she couldn't answer that question because they don't know and they don't even have a release date.

You know if I was to go online and chat with another rep I would probably get told something completely different.

Can you give me the link to their chat? All I can find is the FiOS chat.

I pressed add a line and it asks me what I want to add. Individual plan or upgrade to family share. Do I just do any then I'll get connected? I don't want to press continue then see a new line on my account for $35/month or whatever.

P.S. I've never used Verizon online so that's why I'm like this lol.

Twix, thats because Thunderbolt isnt intels proprietary name for the technology. Its what apple is branding it as.

Nothing will get added to your account until you submit payment information and complete the order.

Thunderbolt is Intel's name for the technology. Light Peak was just a codename (as stated in the article).
