Curious if anyone knows if you uninstall an app where you have inputted personal data, credit card, etc, does uninstalling the app remove all your data too? For apps like Uber/Lyft/etc. Or is your personal data still 'out there' somewhere?

It is still 'out there' somewhere and attached to the account you made with Uber or whatever service you're using. Uninstalling the app just removes the data off your phone and the connection to that data to whatever service you are using. The only sure fire way of removing that data is deleting your account entirely which usually can be done through that service's website. I heard from those who have decided to get away from Uber that deleting your account can be an absolute pain.

As we know, some network apps store data not only on devices locally but also on remote server even remote cloud storage. So, I am not sure that uninstalling process will remove remote data storage relevant to your app account simultaneously. :(

You have said those data are still available on those apps, so how can I retrieve those data? If I use Android apps like "Safe Gallery lock".

Hmm, this reinforces my decision never to use any kind of on line banking / money apps.
Call me paranoid if you wish but if I lost my phone that's all I lose.
