I'm trying to decide between Google Chrome and Safari. I've been having some gtalk issues with Safari. I.E. will not be on the poll as I use a Mac and, well, we all know about I.E. anyway.
I have absolutely NO problems with chrome on ubuntu or win 7, but I can't speak for the mac side of this. Try it out for a bit and see which you prefer hook

Well, I'm using Chrome at this moment. I know Chrome and Google go hand and hand and I use Google a lot, but on the other hand I love my Mac and Safari and Mac work great. Firefox wasn't bad either.
I don't see a lot of updates for the Chrome browser. I don't know if that's a sign of really great security or a sign of poor security.
They use a different update system. The only part I can remember is that they only have a major update every 6 months or something like this. There is other updates, and even beta versions that you can get, but I've never looked into them.
I'm hedging my bets on Firefox till 4 comes out and I see what it's like before I try to adjust to Chrome. I don't like that Firefox is based on outdated standards, but I'm used to it, you know? If it doesn't improve, I'm going to have a great deal of Chrome on my PC...
What's bugging me about Chrome is I can't seem to figure out how to use 1 password with it and it doesn't have a home page icon. I don't see how to add icons to the tool bar.
Chrome has become my default browser, even as much as I liked FF. I like the minimalist look and feel to it, and the speed. On Windows 7, you just drag the icon from the address bar to your tool bar, same as any other browser.
Chrome , Firefox, and Opera I would choose between. For speed either Chrome or Opera before Firefox. Firefox isnt really slow, but the other 2 are just faster.
I still use Firefox for the bookmaks. I have been using Google bookmarks lately so eventually when I get them more organized I might just leave Firefox behind.
My only issue with Chrome is the fact that it doesn't have a home key you can click on to get to your home page. And when you open up a new window it doesn't go to your home page.
Found a fix for getting my password program on there.
^Click on the lil wrench on the right, click Options, go to Basics. Under Home page u can set a homepage button. Unless its different on a Mac, I'm running Windows.
