The one thing I would change in Android is to have it sync nicely with my outlook express road runner email without having to buy touch down exchange (to sync it like my blackberry did). I'll add more if I can think of them.
Thanks weasel, you reminded me of another one. Move the camera lens so it is not placed at the very edge of the phone which causes so many of my pics to end up with a finger in the pic.

I would love more gestures. This is something I always liked about WebOS, and to extent on iOS. They really do come in handy, and make things more fluid. Personally, I would love to be able to swipe down on the on screen buttons to minimize them during video playback or web browsing. Just so that it fills up the entire display.
The battery life on stock ROM needs to improve. It's been quite some time that Android has been out and the stock battery life on these devices are still below what is expected, imo (certain devices). Yeah the hardware got faster and everything, more power demanding, but out of the box, the battery life needs to improve.
I am a ROM addict, but seeing others who are stock, that's their #1 complaint. All the other manufacturers should take a look what Moto did with the Razr Maxx, kept it slim with a nice big battery.
