I have no idea what the stock kernel for MIUI is but I always seem to end up flashing deprimed, slayer or chevys onto whichever ROM I am using.

Are most of you just using stock kernel or something different?

I always use Pete's latest kernels on here. Simple, stable and doesn't break compcache like Chevy's do

supercharged modified liquid 3.0 w/turbocharged 3g
Pete's 5 slot lv 1.25GHz w/ kickasskernel tweaks
19.8 linpack score
1856 quadrant score

I'm just using stock too...seems to be very happy. We haven't had much for kernel development so I've been leaving stock run for some time now.

That sucks, I just got mine running at 1300mhz at a stable level using deprimed and milestone overclock just for kicks. Unreal.

Have you experienced that Petes kernel breaks the Virtuous OC app? I keep getting Force Closes after flashing his kernel

Try rebooting or reflashing kernel. Had fc's with deprimed also first time I flashed, works now. Worth a try.

Hmm I'll try flashing it again. I cleared both caches and did fix permissions and still no dice. Flashed the stock MIUI kernel and the Virt OC program works so it is certainly something with the kernel being flashed. Will def try reflashing tho.

Hmmm I just flashed Deprimed kernel and same exact thing with Virt OC force closing...is it designed to only work with the stock kernel perhaps?
