What is the "Google DNS Hack" on SD3.0

I've installed 3.0 and I was reading the new features list on the OP of the [RELEASE] thread. Most of the items that I didn't know what they were I was able to find answer's to with a quick Google search.

However, what is the Google DNS Hack that Chevy is referring to? When I google-it all I find is referrences to the Googld DNS that was HACKED several months ago.

If you know what this is or wouldn't mind helping me with a more accurate search term, I would appreciate it.
