Oh, I see it only works with AMEX - or a card from Chase or Wells Fargo...

It's VZW Spam. Go into the Apps in Settings and disable it

Softcard is vzw's version if Google wallet.. Used to be called ISIS wallet.. But because if the goings on in the middle east.. They changed the name.. That as I recall anyhow.

When I heard that when it first happened all I could do was SMH! Did they honestly think people would confuse a smartphone NFC payment app with a middle eastern terrorist group? Oy!

Yeah but.. You know how it is when you have a "think tank" of people that you pay to think about ways to further enhance your product(s) and your companies image.. They come up with some weird stuff.. I guess the thought behind this is probably that Americans won't want to use a product that has the same name as a group that's doing the things ISIS is.. Or is it isil? It seems to change daily..

Just ticks me off that everyone and their grandma (business wise) are jumping on the iPay bandwagon, while Wallet, Softcard etc continue to flounder. #sigh #WTH!

I agree.. Because icrap has it now.. Its being adopted.. But Google has had it for years.. And hardly anything happens... Smdh
