what is Go Launcher Ex

I used to use Launcher Pro, but it hasn't been updated in over a year. Because of that, it doesn't work correctly with ICS or Jelly Bean. It's also way behind all of the other major launchers as far as features and options go. Supposedly the developer is rewriting it, but I'll believe it when I see it.

What do you consider a major launcher though?

Launchers that work the best and have the most support. I'd say there are three major launchers right now - GoLauncher, Apex, and Nova. Apex and Nova are ICS-only I believe, which is why GoLauncher is the most popular of the three.

How exactly. did you get your apps to look like that. The size and pic. I'm new to the android. Thanks.

He used another app called Desktop VisualizeR. Its available in the play store and free. Lets you replace icons with images of your choosing. I've never used it myself, but many of my friends used to use it, and it does look pretty cool, if done right.
