What happens if we don't downgrade to 246 from 247?

Unless Sam did something with HoB (and I haven't checked in a while) you cannot go backwards on 247. Not without creating a sexy brick.

247 can go back to anything 235 up but not anything 232 down. Its been that way since within hrs of the time 235 dropped. With help from matt's "unstick" solution.

if you stay at 247 you won't get minor updates like security patches, etc, that don't have to be verizon approved. But, there is a lot of voodoo right now concerning exactly what 246 and 247 are and aren't, so you might want until we get something MD5ed over at the other place
