Well....... I am a Controls Technician/Electrician.
Basically I diagnose and repair control issues in CNC equipment. I also upgrade and retrofit new controls to old machines. Including reading/writing ladder logic. (Plc programming)
I also run conduit, pull wire, diagnose and repair any number of electrical issues.
We are a 1 stop machine repair company. We also have mechanics and machinists so there isn't really much of anything we can't do.
I have tons and tons of photos if anyone is interested...
This was a recent project. It's a very bad attempt on a panoramic shot.
This is an Italian pill packaging machine that was completely outdated and had no support. I traced all wires, rewired, replaced all I/O and components, added a touch screen. The PLC was replaced and an entire ladder/code had to be written from scratch. I had to have some help on this as the code was very very complex. Now that I've had my hands in this one I feel I could do most on my own now but with all that could go wrong I wanted veteran eyes on it with me.
I actually have a thread exactly like this at the S3forums that I have multiple jobs posted.
