What are lte's real download speeds?

Just wondering because when ever I do the speed tests I get at least 5mbs dl on 4g and 1 on 3g. Why do apps under 5 mbs not download in under 1 second?

I mean more like why does it show high speeds but apps don't seem to download at the same rate. Ex. I score 10mbs on speedtest but a 5 mb app take more than 4 secs to download

There is a lot that goes into determining speed. Server set up, bandwidth, and congestion are a few things that determine speed.

Like a few weeks ago I was grabbing printer stuff from Epson. The max download speeds I got was 25kbps. Obviously, that's not my internet speed.

Don't mistake bits for bytes. Mb=mbits MB=MBytes 8 bits to a byte. 5MB in 4 seconds is good speed for sure.
