What are differences between D2 and Milestone2?

I noticed someone posting a question about the Milestone2 in the Droid2 forum.

Am I right in thinking they are almost the same device?
I know it doesn't matter that they have the same plastic.

I heard the chipsets are slightly different.

Can someone elaborate?

D2 is Verizon. Milestone 2 is everyone else. Verizon has an agreement with George Lucas for the Droid naming. Therefore Moto has to use a different name for non-Verizon and they go with Milestone. Now there is some things a little different. If I am correct. I have a D1 and I know the Milestone was a copy except it had the locked bootloader. So I would assume that there could be slight differences with the D2 and M2 but really its mostly just a name.
