I disabled a bunch of apps that are preinstalled that I never use.

Which ones did you leave? Which did you disable?

Everything carrier based, manufacturer based and everything Google based except for Play Store and Gmail are disabled. I'm on T-Mobile so I don't have as much carrier bloatware as Verizon but had just as much Google bloat. It's not a Samsung so it didn't have all that much bloatware from LG.

What do you guys mean by disable?
You can long press apps go to app info. And disable apps. Prevents them from running in the background and removes them from the drawer. You can't uninstall them. Cleans things up. I did most preinstalled apps and all 12 or so Verizon.

I think some of the replies here may not be specific to the Turbo. Although there definitely is some carrier bloat here (thanks Verizon) most of the manufacturer (Motorola) software is actually very good stuff! Moto Display is awesome. Moto Assist is very helpful, as are some others.

I have a Black Turbo, like to see how many can be disabled w/o affecting phone use. Nice thing is, you can enable them again.

I just disabled a bunch, love the "Warning" Disable me and I may just make your entire phone turn into a fat 2nd grader pi$$ed off because you hid the doughnuts.
Anybody been bitten by Little Bobby? I disabled a bunch of stuff I don't see ever using. You foresee any problems with that?

It wouldn't let you disable anything that's detrimental to the phone.. You can disable apps that might make things run poorly.. Like Google key board..
