What apps are sweet right now? I want the forums opinion...

These lists are great especially for a rookie like me. I have been trying apps out and adding apps.

Totally agree, I been messing around with each of the suggestions on this thread and have been pleased with alot of the apps mentioned. Thank you!

I've been setting up Springpad this past weekend, and it's a pretty good task app. You can build checklists, notes, voice notes, pictures, screenshots... All kinds of stuff. It's like Evernote, but I think it's better because it also fully integrates with your Chrome browser. You can add the Chrome extension and it makes it super easy to take snapshots and screenshots and save them into Springpad. You can also sync your Twitter, Facebook, Gmail, and Yahoo mail accounts, as well as other electronics, like you tablet--Android or iOS. I'm a huge list maker and have made a few checklists and to-do lists as well as saved some pictures and info straight from my browser to remind me what to look for when I'm out shopping. It's a pretty good app and worth checking out if you haven't yet.

Don't know how you got it to work? It wouldn't let me register with Facebook OR on my computer at the site. Kept getting the "Ooops" message?!

I downloaded the the Chrome extension and linked it with my Gmail account, but then went in settings and set up a username and password, which I then used to link to my Bionic. Linking the Facebook was a bit tricky at first; I tried to link it but came up with a blank screen. But when I closed Chrome and reopened, I was linked. It did take a little fiddling to get it linked up alright, but it's an amazing app once you get past that.

First of all I want to state that I have not tried any of the following apps.

That being said, I found 9 free shopping apps recommended in the latest issue of Consumer Reports

Shopping
1) The Coupons App - Pinpoints your location and shows coupons that you can show at the register.
2) Cellfire - Loads coupons to your loyalty card. When you enter the store that provided it, you get a mobile alert.
3) Foursquare - Tracks your location and shows deals. Works with Groupon and other social-shopping sites.
4) Grocery iQ - When you create a shopping list it will show coupons in real time.
5) Where - Once you tag favorite retailers, it'll tell you when they have a coupon (I do have this app, but haven't used this part).

Search Apps
1) SnapTell - Use barcode or picture of item to find best deals.
2) Pricegrabber - Similar to SnapTell

Price-Comparation App

1) Grocery Smarts - Tracks items and prices in circulars from CVS, Rite Aid, Target, Walgreens and Walmart to give you the best price. Compares price with manufacturer's discount as well.

Travel App
1) Kayak - Like the website to compare prices on flights, hotels and car rentals. Books your travel and keeps track of your itinerary as well.

todo list widget - a very simple task widget
mx video player - like it better than stock cause can stretch video to fit screen and also brightness control while playing a video
i must run - good time wasting game
alarm clock extreme - like its crescendo feature
green power - its like juice defender but this fits my needs better
handcent- sms replacement
thumb keyboard - keyboard replacement
wave launcher - swipe from bottom up and can launch a app or use a widget
weather bug
math maniac -
for those times i want to give my self a head ache

Is there a texting app out there preferred over Handcent? I've been using that one for a while now and havent really heard of anything else come out.

While I personally like Handcent the best, I know a lot of people are fans of Go SMS and ChompSMS.

A simple and free game is Solitaire. You get Solitaire (duh), Free Cell, Spider and Forty Thieves all in one app.
