I have had 3 Droid X phones and have had unbelievable bad luck with them freezing up and having to constantly reboot them and factory resests and dont know if its the phone or the apps I have downloaded. Here is a list of what I have and let me know what to get rid of.

- Advanced Task Killer, aGibbets(game), Atomic Bomber, Baseball superstar, break videos, drag racing(game), droidtv, firehouse schedular, ink pad, level pro, lookout, yahoo, flixster movies, safe notes,TIKL, Walgreens.

Are there apps to definately have.
Thanks

I would get rid of advanced task killer right to start with. As far as the other apps, run them one by one and give them time between installing another.

There is an app I use all the time called fast reboot. Its awesome. I use it 20 times a day. It stops and restarts all processes without turning off the phone and frees up tons of memory. Don't use task killer

U need to download "system panel" there is a free and paid version, free version will do what u need. It will give u detailed reports about all ur apps.....how much battery used, how much cpu used, time in cpu for individual apps, and also a task killer to kill individual apps, or all apps....even most system apps. Definatly a MUST HAVE

It will help in the future to tell u what apps u have downloaded u need to get rid of immediatly

I've been scouring the net, looking for the answer to this question (what to stay away from). Seems like ATK causes a LOT more problems than it solves. I'd recommend staying away from it. Seems to work on some Droids, yet causes havoc on many more. Good luck, bud...
