Yah there's a pretty big difference in that a lot of your stat_ images (and quite a few others) are a waste of time to theme in framework-res.apk. Those need to be themed in the com.htc.resources.apk which is found in the framework folder, or they won't show on your droid. There's 1700+ images in there, most of which i've never themed. There's a lot of sweet stock images tho and i'm kind of excited about theming it. it's just gonna take forever.
I think there's less of a need to edit xml's in framework becuz a lot of them can be found in an image now.Okies I know you are eating breakfast. LOL FYI, 1st pic in your op. The white status bar icon that looks like a target. Is for 911 emergency locator or something like that. LOL

yah there's a fix for that (to remove it) over at xda but i haven't got around to it yet. it's drivin me mad tho :rofl3:
