Weird tones when calling or receiving a call.

Whenever I dial someone and it connects or answer a call, I get a series of tones. It's a short, rapid burst of tones. At first, it didn't bother me, but now it's getting annoying. Is this normal? the tones I mean, not me getting annoyed. Is there any way to turn them off?

Settings --> Sound & display settings. Is "Call connect" checked? If so, uncheck it. (Personally this is a GREAT feature and lets you know when a call really does connect so you don't have to keep checking the screen.)
