Web browser is locking up

Anyone have an issue with the default browse freezing or locking up? Tried logging into Facebook and no matter how many times press enter or login or the green square appears around the login icon nothing happens. Not loading.. tried WiFi and 3g. Help?

browser freezing issues???

I have noticed this same issue. Mine is mostly related to loading facebook thru the touch site: Welcome to Facebook | Facebook. This is the default that comes up when I click on my Welcome to Facebook bookmark. The first home page loads just fine, but when I click on the profile tab it usually freezes here. Sometimes it will load depending on what apps I have recently deleted trying to get this to work. But it always freezes when I click on the info tab. Since I know this will always freeze I have been using it to attempt to figure out which apps are hurting my internet browsing ability. I have not completely figured this out yet.

On the other side...my wife's phone has most of the same apps but has no problems loading up her facebook pages that my phone will not load.

Anyone else have similar isuues &/or, preferably, a fix for this?????

I have the same issues, not just facebook, but random other web pages. I would have to hit my taskiller app and then go to history try the webpage and works fine. It does get annoying, hope someone can shine some light on this issue.

I use dolphin hd and dolphin. Also, xscope.

Thanks for mentioning the Dolphin HD app...It work flawlessly. Way better than the stock browser.

The first version of dolphin hd that came out was AMAZING. This was a couple months ago. Each new version since then has introduced new bugs. I'm really disappointed because i browse on the phone a lot. I've contacted the dev about the issues and I'm hoping for the best. Dolphin (without the HD) is still pretty good.

Browser didn't matter

When my phone wouldn't load a page, it didn't matter which browser I used. I tried Dolphin HD & Skyfire, but they would all lock up the same. I just factory reset my phone & haven't gotten crazy with the apps this time. I'm not sure of the exact app that caused the problem, but I only d/l one at a time & check to make sure my browsers don't lock up after. So far so good.
