Wax for you phone screen

I've tried car wax and even sealant on the glass of my phone. Both worked great, but of course wear off over a matter of days.

As much as a clean freak I am with my cars, it certainly is a losing battle when it comes to my devices because it just gets so much more interaction.

I got a $10 Amazon GC, I may try this stuff out.

I just I ordered some an hour ago.. More so for my touch screen on my car that gets so fingerprinted up I can't see it in the sun... But I bet it will be good for both. It should come on Friday.. Ask me by Sunday, I will have tried it out. I paid 13.95 on Amazon prime with 2 microfiber cloths

Not sure if it's really wax. When I was a kid there was a product called glass wax that you put on the windows. Let it dry and rubbed it off. It was great.. If this is half as good, it will be awesome on the phones. I have a glass screen cover, I wonder if it will be as good on that..

I got some lens cleaner with my prescription glasses, the poly lenses come out super slick vs. other stuff, like Windex, dedicated screen cleaners and such.

I will post a review..I use eyeglass spray too, but I'm hoping the glass wax will repel fingerprints too and be a superior product. Also I ruined the dashboard of my previous truck spraying a tiny bit of Windex toward the glass covering my speedometer. The Windex drops got thru in places and looked like chicken pox on sunny days and to clean it you'd have to drop the dash. So something thicker is what I wanted for the touch screen primarily. I just don't want to forget where to post so you'll see it because I am subscribed to so many threads. But if you follow me, you will be notified anyway wherever I post...

I decided to get a bottle too. I tend to clean my device every other day with my Hans cleaning tool and solution. I'll add this step to my cleaning regime and see if it keep fingerprints away any better

I've used wax on my windshield before but it didn't last as long as Rain-X, so I didn't bother doing it again.

Another vote for RainX. Doesn't prevent finger prints or goo smudges but it comes off a lot easier with than without. Been using it since before Android. I don't recommend it on top of plastic screen protectors though. It doesn't wipe totally clear like on glass.
