Want to use mic input while streaming to Ustream.

I am going to be using the phone to stream to Ustream, but I would like to use the mic input. Can't find anyway to activate this. I suppose it would be the same issue as with using Skype but Skype may have a setting for that. Ustream had no settings for anything like this. Any ideas of what I could do with the phone settings to let the mic input be active as opposed to the built in mic.

Aah, got it. Have to have mic plugged in while launching the Ustream program. Also must be a mic or have the right load on it. I was trying to have a plug in the jack and not have the mic plugged in yet.
